Dr Charlotte Hall

Bio: Dr Charlotte Hall is Principal Research Fellow working within NIHR MindTech HRC at the University of Nottingham. She has a specialist interest in complex interventions for neurodevelopmental disorders. Charlotte is passionate about improving access to evidence based care and is particularly interested in the role that digital technology can play to support this. Charlotte is the Chief Investigator on the study and provides overall oversight into the study conduct.

 

Shireen Patel

Bio: Shireen Patel is an early-career researcher working within NIHR ARC East Midlands at the University of Nottingham. Shireen has a particular interest in enhancing accessibility of mental health services for marginalised groups. Her research has explored the efficacy of digital health interventions for the treatment of mental health and improving overall wellbeing. She has experience in conducting research in both primary and secondary health care settings, collaborating with GPs and mental health clinician. Shireen is a strong advocate for involving and collaborating with Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPI/E) representatives in research.

 

Sarah Cooper

Bio: Sarah Cooper is a postgraduate research support officer with an undergraduate in Psychology and a masters in Applied Child Psychology. Sarah has over 15 years’ experience working with children and families as a secondary school Head of Department and Senior Leader. Her particular area of interest is around how gender, ethnicity and socio-economics intersect with neurodevelopment disorders. Sarahs most recent research has focused on exploring the lived experiences of families accessing educational support for their children with an ADHD, OCD and ASD diagnosis.

 

Dr Camilla Babbage

Bio: Camilla Babbage is an early-career researcher, at MindTech, University of Nottingham. Camilla completed her PhD which explored the development of an app to support wellbeing in young people who have Tourette Syndrome, which included working with parents and young people. Camilla is also a researcher on the Digital Youth project, working with young people with mental health difficulties exploring the development and implementation of interventions into healthcare services. Camilla is passionate about integrating PPI input throughout research, from development, data collection, analysis to infographic and media creation.

 

Dr Vibhore Prasad

Bio: Dr Vibhore Prasad is a clinical academic general practitioner (GP) associated with the University of Nottingham. Dr Prasad works in Nottinghamshire at the Brierley Park Medical Group and is clinical director for Ashfield North Primary Care Network (PCN). Vibhore has a research interest in earlier detection and support for young people with neurodevelopmental and mental health disorders. Vibhore has experience of using routinely collected medical records and digital interventions in research.

 

Professor Kapil Sayal

Bio: Professor Kapil Sayal is Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. After completing undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Medicine, Kapil undertook a combined clinical and academic training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry (KCL) and the Bethlem & Maudsley / SLAM NHS Trusts. He was awarded a Health Services Research Training Fellowship investigating pathways to care for children at risk of ADHD and was subsequently appointed as a Clinical Lecturer. Kapil is an NIHR Senior Investigator.

Professor Maddie Groom

Bio: Maddie Groom is Professor of Neurodevelopmental Conditions at the University Of Nottingham. Maddie’s research seeks to understand the causal mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders with a particular interest in the co-occurrence between ADHD, autism and Tourette Syndrome. She also works with a range of stakeholders including those with lived experience and clinical expertise, to increase awareness of neurodevelopmental differences, and to improve healthcare services. Maddie is Director of the Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan (CANDAL), a research Centre of Excellence in the Institute of Mental Health and co-lead of the Children & Young People’s theme in the MindTech Health Research Centre. She also runs the MSc Mental Health: Research & Practice at the University of Nottingham.

 

Dr Neeta Kulkarni

Bio: Dr Neeta Kulkarni is a Consultant Community Paediatrician in in Family Leicestershire Partnership Trust (LPT) with over 16 years of experience in managing children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She is keen to provide the best possible care incorporating new technologies to improve patient care. She is the Local Principal Investigator (in LPT) for this study.

Dr Seonaid Anderson

Bio: Dr Anderson is a chartered research psychologist and freelance neurodiversity consultant with many years experience in neurodevelopmental disorders. As CEO of Neuro-diverse Dr Anderson is creator of the Behavioural Therapy for Tics Institute (BTTI) offering online behavioural therapy training for tics for clinicians and therapists. She has contributed to the European clinical guidelines for the treatment and management of Tourette syndrome (TS) and topic guides and podcasts for The Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH). Seonaid is a board member & secretary of the Belgian Tourette Syndrome Association Iktic/Jetique and a founding member of Tics and Tourette Around the Globe (TTAG) an umbrella organization representing Tic and Tourette Syndrome advocacy groups globally.

 

Jen Logan

Bio: Jen Logan is programme lead for mental health transformation at South Central & West Commissioning Support Unit (NHS). She has a passion for mental health and reducing inequalities, having worked within the public sector in both managerial and frontline roles, giving a unique perspective of mental health in health and social care. Combining corporate and management experience with psychological expertise, Jen is able to identify evidence-led solutions to challenging areas and bring together a wide range of ideas and engagement to deliver positive change.

Dr Monique Davis

Bio: Dr Monique Davis is a senior specialist educational psychologist in the London borough of Islington, jointly leading a mental health support team. She provides expertise in supporting students with a range of needs in education settings, with particular focus on the emotional and relational aspects of learning. She also leads on applying anti-racist and social justice principles to the mental health context in her service.

 

Nasima Miah

Bio: Nasima is an experienced Community Engagement Officer working at The Centre for Ethnic Health Research and focusing addressing ethnic health inequalities. With a BSc Honors degree in Public and Community Health Studies, Nasima has over a decade of experience in community engagement, project management, delivery, planning and evaluation.

Nasima’s primary focus is to engage with communities and develop effective strategies that address health disparities among ethnic groups. She work closely with community leaders, faith leaders, academics, healthcare providers and other stakeholders to identify areas of need and implement targeted interventions that promote health and well-being.
