Please make sure you state the name of the event in the subject line of your email.

Substitutions can be made without penalty however advance notice is required. To make a substitution please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. giving the event title, date, current delegate’s name and the replacement person’s name, organisation and email address. Official confirmation will then be sent to both parties.

 

Cancellation policy - face to face event

• Notice before event: 4 weeks or more: A full refund of the delegate fee will be given
• Notice before event: less than 4 weeks: No refund - full payment of the total delegate fee is required
• Failure to attend: No refund - full payment of the total delegate fee is required 
• Delegate fees under £50.00pp: No refund - full payment of the total delegate fee is required 
• Cancelling a place for a 'free of charge' face to face event will not incur a penalty, but we do ask for as much notice as possible in order to be able to offer your place to another delegate.

 

Cancellation policy - online event

• If a video recording of the event will be made available after the event: No refund - full payment of the total delegate fee is required as a link to an exclusive video recording of the event will be made available to you for a limited period of time after the event. 
• If a video recording will not be made available after the event: The above cancellation policy for a face to face event applies.
• Delegate fees under £50.00pp: No refund - full payment of the total delegate fee is required 
• Cancelling a place for a 'free of charge' online event will not incur a penalty, but we do ask for as much notice as possible in order to be able to offer your place to another delegate

 

The Institute of Mental Health shall not be held liable to refund any fees should the event be cancelled or rescheduled due to force majeure or any other cause whatsoever beyond their control. 

The Institute of Mental Health withholds the right to reschedule events and substitute presenters where necessary. If we feel it is in our best interests to reschedule an event attendees will be given the opportunity to either attend the rescheduled event or to receive a full refund of the total amount of the delegate fee.

The Institute of Mental Health shall not be held liable to refund any accommodation or associated travel costs should an event be cancelled or rescheduled.
