Study summary:

The Unfold 2 study aims to identify the processes involved in developing an identity as a ‘person in recovery’, and how recovery from mental ill health may ‘unfold’ over time. The study is funded by the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre. UNFOLD was approved by The University of Nottingham Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences Research Ethics Committee in June 2021.

The study is seeking to recruit people who:

  • Are aged 18 or over
  • Have experienced psychosis (diagnosed or self-defined)
  • Are competent in English
  • Can use a computer or smartphone and have an email address
  • Able to give informed consent for participation
  • At either the ‘rebuilding’ or ‘growth’ stage of recovery as measured by the Single Item Stages of Recovery Measure (SISR).

There will be an inconvenience allowance for participation.
