Forensic Research Nottingham Summer Symposium

The interface between mental health and justice pathways: challenges and future directions in diversion and sentencing

A little later in the year than planned, but this year's FRN Summer Symposium was held on Thursday 21 September at the Djanogly Arts Centre on University of Nottingham Park.

Delayed due to strike action in July, this year's event welcomed over 40 delegates and members of the Forensic Research Nottingham network to hear from forensic research colleagues from around the country. 

The theme for this year’s symposium was 'The interface between mental health and justice pathways: challenges and future directions in diversion and sentencing' and the event was aimed at clinicians working in both forensic and general adult settings, and to researchers looking to develop projects in this area.
