Julie Gosling leads the SOFU integrated research group, 'Open Futures' which enables voices of lived experience to be heard, and to collaborate within Social Futures research and knowledge sharing initiatives.

She advises on co-production best practice from a perspective of anti-oppressive practice and human rights. She co-hosts the conferences of the Mental Diversity Law Network and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Centre for Mental Health and Human Rights.
