A multi-country project involving a range of interdisciplinary groups, artists, health professionals and people in long term recovery.  The Arts Social Change Project spans four countries France, Italy, Lithuania and the UK.

Focusing on the use of art and social interaction in facilitating recovery change, the project contributes to the development of a innovative training programme to strengthen transversal competencies of health staff working with people in recovery from addictions.

The Personal Recovery Conceptual framework (CHIME) Leamy et al (2010) ( that has been conducted at the Institute of Mental Health) provides the theoretical framework underlying the project.

Dr Theo Stickley is currently evaluating this project.
