The team behind the What's Up With Everyone? project have published a report on preliminary findings.

In 2021, the Arts and Humanities Research Council commissioned the mass-media mental health campaign called  ‘What’s Up With Everyone?’, with Academy-award winning Aardman. The campaign was led by Professor Paul Crawford and the Centre for social Futures, along with colleagues from The Storytelling Academy at Loughborough University, the London School of Economics and Politics, the Mental Health Foundation, Happy Space; and Buzz Consulting.

Working with young people, co-created messages were professionally storied and animated by Aardman, focused on improving mental health literacy in five core areas: loneliness and isolation, perfectionism, competition, independence and social media.

The research phase to the campaign is now closed and findings, alongside final publication outputs, are now published in a new digital showcase hosted on the Mental Health Foundation website (publsihed June 2022).
