Parthena has a BSc (Hons) in Psycholog, with MSc in Mental Health at the University of Nottingham.

Born and raised in Greece, she has finished her undergraduate studies in her home city, Thessaloniki, and in Poland and Germany. She has been involved in mental health community projects with older adults, refugees and healthcare practitioners, art-based therapies and various research projects in dementia, anxiety, and trauma. Her Master’s dissertation in collaboration with the WHO and the Institute of Mental Health, Nottingham, has provided the groundwork for the establishment of a clinical framework of good practice for services in dementia care, based on human-rights and person-centred approaches.
