Dr Caroline Fox-Yeo BArch. MSc. PhD. is an Anne McLaren research fellow based at the University of Nottingham Department of Architecture and Built Environment and her project is called Healing Houses.

Soteria houses and peer respites, collectively called Healing Houses, are alternatives to psychiatric hospitalisation.

The aim of this research project is to review Healing Houses relating to design characteristics (architectural and service), sustainability and development opportunities and barriers through a systematic review, see link below and focus groups and interviews.
