Surinder Bangar is a doctoral researcher based at the Centre for Dementia and the School of English.

She is currently exploring creative storytelling approaches in the lives of people living with dementia and their carers in the community. The research aims to provide further insights into how creative storytelling approaches such as generating life stories and Timeslips can enrich lives and provide practical guidance for future practice. She is a certified Timeslips facilitator. Her interests include enhancing independence and wellbeing in later life.
