Dr Katy Jones is an Assistant Professor of Applied Psychology in the Academic Unit of Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences (School of Medicine) and Institute of Mental Health.

Her research interests include alcohol use in later life, alcohol as a risk factor for dementia, and how to frame prevention messages for dementia. She has appeared on BBC Radio 4 Today Programme as an expert in this area. She has expertise in mixed-methods, systematic review, and meta-analysis.
