Dr Emma Broome is a Research Fellow in Hearing Sciences at the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre. 

Emma completed her PhD at the University of Nottingham in 2019, funded by the Alzheimer’s Society.  This research looked at how care staff influence the access and experience of creative activity for people with dementia living in residential care.  Emma is currently working on a program of research to develop and evaluate a digital intervention to support adults with hearing loss.
