Centre for Dementia Research Fellow Dr Claudio Di Lorito has been selected to exhibit his work at a new exhibition celebrating LGBT+ History Month.

Following his work around equality and inclusivity in dementia services for LGBT+ patients and carers, Claudio was selected to showcase his findings in the current University of Nottingham exhibition, Unmuting Ourselves.

Titled, ‘Are dementia services and support organizations meeting the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender families experiencing dementia?’ the exhibit is the latest development in a project which has gathered international support and collaboration along the way. You can view it here.

If you’d like to read more about Claudio’s work in this area, here’s a recent blog post he wrote for the Institute, outlining the background to his work and why this is as much a personal endeavour as a research project.

Unmuting Ourselves is displaying work which supports the LGBT+ community and is available to view in person or online between 8th and 11th February. Details can be found here.
