The IMH Research Day aims are to highlight the work of the Institute’s doctoral candidates, Managed Innovation Networks (MINs), and all early-career researchers (including research assistants, research fellows, and research-active clinicians and service users). The event celebrates the breadth of ideas and research work currently taking place within the Institute of Mental Health. In particular, we give priority to those early career researchers who are based at the Institute of Mental Health, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Nottingham.

This year’s Research Day had a slightly different programme as we hosted the event online for the first time. Pre-recorded videos for oral and poster presentations, from presenters selected by the conference judges, were available for event attendees to watch in advance of the event - see below. On the day of the event we were joined by the chosen presenters for a series of Q&A sessions on a variety of topics which all event attendees had the opportunity to join. We also welcomed our keynote speaker, Professor Sir Graham Thornicroft, on the day for an inspirational keynote speech.
